New Year Colors Book tag

2018-01-01_19.22.14

In Brazil, there is this tradition of wearing a certain color in the New Year’s celebrations to show/wish for what that color represents. I thought that it was very  interesting and I thought of some questions around those meanings…

WHITE – #PEACE

What book brought you the most peace in the last year?

Silver Silence ‘ by Nalini Singh. This book brought me peace because there was a point in this book that I thought there wouldn’t have a HEA ending, and I’m glad I was wrong. I cannot mention enough how much I love Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changelling series, and she has spoiled her reader with HEA in every book in the series. So, the thought that this book woundn’t have one made me panic. I was so relieved that I felt like everything was alright in the world.

YELLOW- #MONEY

What is the most hyped book you read this past year AND what books do you want to read in the New Year?

‘We Were Liars’ was the most hyped book I read in 2017. This book was release in 2014, but I only read it this year during the #book-tube-a-thon. I loved it, and felt silly for not reading it sooner.

Theses are a few of the books I’m very excited for  in 2018;

PINK- #LOVE

What book did you read that had the best love story in the last year AND what book release in 2018 would have the best love story?

‘My Angel’ by Alanea Alder had the best love story for me. For me, Alanea Alder always writes amazing love stories, and in ‘My Angel’ the love story was just tooth-aching sweeting, without the cringy. I can’t stand cringy romances.

From my list, I think ‘Ocean Light’ will have the best love story. Though all of them have romance and are great, I’m have a feeling about ‘Ocean Light’.

RED- #PASSION

What series/book did you start this last year that you’re now very passionate about?

I have become a very passionate fan this year of the ‘Thirds‘ series by Charlie Cochet, and I’m is passion with. I’m in love with this series, it’s a very new and original take on shifters to me.

BLUE- #PEACEOFMIND

What book did you read this year that had the best ending AND which new release in 2018 might have the best ending?

One of the books that had the best ending for this last year was ‘Treyvon’ by M. K. Eidem. It has the best ending because it ended on a cliff-hanger, meaning there will be more books in the series.

From my list I think ‘The Thief’  by J. R. Ward will have the best ending. Ward always does unexpected things in this series, and I’m always excited for her endings.

GREEN- # HOPE

What book did you read in the last year that brought you some kind of hope AND what book are you hopeful for in 2018?

‘Jade’ (Kings of Guardians series book 9) by Kris Michaels brought me hope in love and humanity. No Spoilers, the ending was lovely. It made me feel hopeful about people in love will always fight for one another.

I’m very hopeful for any of Alanea Alder‘s books in 2018. We know she is the writing process right now, so I’m hoping that some time next year we’ll get a new addition to the ‘Bewitched and Bewildered’ series.

ORANGE- #SUCCESS

What sequel did you read this last year AND which one you want to read in the New Year?

I tend to binge read series, so I’m not sure which sequel I read this year. Though I’m excited about continuing reading ‘The Witcher’ series by Andrzej Sapkowski. I’m nearly finished with book 1, ‘The Last Wish’, which I’m loving, so I’m hoping to read the continuation of this series in 2018.

VIOLET- #INSPIRATION

What book did you read this year that inspired you to read/try something new in the New Year?

I read  the comic book ‘Watchmen’ by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons this last year. I’ve always wanted to read more comic books, and reading this one really inspired me to try more of them. I bought a few of the ‘Wonder Woman’ Rebirth comic books, but haven’t read them, so I’m hoping to be more in the mood for it in 2018.

I hope you liked this tag, and if you did I hope you feel inspired to do it too.

Have a Happy New Year with lots of peace, money, love, passion, peace of mind, hope, success and inspiration.
